Jimeta Modern Stadium Takes Shape, Drawing Praise From Governor Fintiri

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has described the ongoing construction of the Jimeta Modern Stadium as impressive and directed the contractor to expedite work to ensure the timely completion of the project.

The Governor gave the directive on Tuesday while inspecting the level of work at the facility in Yola.
Governor Fintiri expressed satisfaction with the quality of construction, describing the project as excellent.

He noted that although the stadium was expected to have been completed by now, unforeseen challenges had delayed its completion.

He, however, directed the contractor to meet with him to discuss an extension of time that would facilitate the successful delivery of the project.

The Governor expressed confidence that upon completion, the Jimeta Modern Stadium would position Adamawa State to host major national sporting events and competitions, thereby boosting sports development and economic activities in the state.

Speaking on structures allegedly erected on government land surrounding the stadium, Governor Fintiri warned that his administration would take legal action against individuals found to have encroached on government property.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the execution of people-oriented projects aimed at improving the lives and well-being of citizens across Adamawa State.
