The All Progressives Congress, APC, has concluded its House of Representatives primary elections across the eight federal constituencies in Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The results of the primaries were announced in Yola on Saturday by the Chairman of the APC Primary Election Committee in Adamawa State, Ahmad Shehu.
According to the committee chairman, Aliyu Boya Wakili emerged winner of the Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, while James Barka secured victory for the Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency.
For the Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, Nyampa Dauda Zakaria emerged winner, while Ramatu Bello clinched the ticket for the Mubi North/Mubi South/Maiha Federal Constituency.
Similarly, Kwamoti B. Laori won the Numan Federal Constituency ticket, while Suleman Ahmed GK Jagamato emerged winner for the Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency.
In the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency, Golfa Mallam secured the party’s ticket, while Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad emerged winner for the Yola North/Yola South/Girei Federal Constituency.
Professor Shehu commended party members, security agencies, and election officials for the peaceful conduct of the primaries across the state.
“The exercise was peaceful and transparent. Party members, security agencies and officials conducted themselves in an orderly manner,” he said.
The party also congratulated the successful candidates and expressed optimism that the APC would record victory in the 2027 general elections.
