APGA House of Representatives Aspirant Sympathises with Dzangola Community Following Reported Attack

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representatives aspirant for the Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency, BLDR Alvary Andrew Durkwa, has expressed deep sympathy with the people of Dzangola community in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State following the reported attack on the community.

Durkwa extended his condolences to families who reportedly lost their loved ones and sympathised with those injured and other residents affected by the incident.

He described the situation as painful and disturbing, saying that no community should have to live under the constant fear of violence and insecurity.

The APGA aspirant called for urgent action by relevant authorities and security agencies to protect vulnerable communities across Gombi and other parts of the constituency.

According to him, the safety and security of the people must remain a priority, particularly for rural communities that continue to face security challenges.

He urged security agencies to investigate the reported incident and take necessary measures to prevent further attacks, while also ensuring that those affected receive the necessary support.

Durkwa said his sympathy with the people of Dzangola goes beyond a political message, stressing that leadership must mean standing with the people, especially during difficult and painful moments.

He said the incident had once again drawn attention to the security challenges facing some communities within the Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency and highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between government, security agencies, community leaders and residents.

As the 2027 general election approaches, Durkwa said issues affecting the safety, welfare and development of the people must remain central to political conversations and representation.

He maintained that effective representation should not be limited to promises during election campaigns but should focus on listening to the people, understanding their challenges and advocating for practical solutions.

The reported attack on Dzangola has renewed concerns over the safety of rural communities in the area, with calls for increased security measures and sustained efforts to protect lives and property.
