OPINION: Justice Alone Is Not Enough For The Agony of Gazans In The Occupied Region.

Mustapha Muhammad Nguru

The dire state of Gaza and the intense loss of lives and starvation are no longer a hot topic under global watch, who will intercede to break the peace and save Gazans from the Deadliest Zionist holocaust.

This pervasive savagery of human anguish under the watch of the global community needs more than intervention and intercession. I think Gazans are equally human beings like everyone by birth not like humans by animal birth. Even if they were, they should not be subjected to this extent of cruelty.

This is an unimaginable and unstoppable nightmare for Gazans with no sign of an end, and no tinge of hope anymore from the recent experience. Gazan well up is no longer audible, it’s trailing off anywhere from near to the edge.

For them, everything becomes inaccessible in the occupied region from water to electricity, from school to hospital to marketplace. Children are suffering women are suffering with no food no medical supplies people are fleeing with no access to critical infrastructure. Intensive assault and sporadic bombardment are taking a physical and emotional toll, it’s truly becoming unbearable.
The United Nations and the international Global community should call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza this should not continue like this under their watch, The number of malnourished children the number of women the number of displaced are too large to count in the region.

According to UNICEF More than 5,000 children were diagnosed with malnutrition in the Gaza Strip in May An average of 112 children have been admitted for treatment every day since the beginning of 2025
Also according to AMMAN, 19 June 2025 – The number of malnourished children in the Gaza Strip is rising at an alarming rate, with 5,119 children between 6 months and 5 years of age admitted for treatment for acute malnutrition in May alone.
Meanwhile, according to data from the UNICEF-supported nutrition centres across the Gaza Strip, this represents a nearly 50 per cent increase from the 3,444 children admitted in April 2025 and a 150 per cent increase from February when a ceasefire was in effect but for now still no sign of any ceasefire except severe suffering.

At the same time, more than one million shelter items, and 2.3 million items such as tents, tarps, and sealing-off materials, have been procured and are currently stuck in Jordan and Egypt as the Israeli authorities have not approved their entry.
The shelter crisis continues to worsen, with most families living in severely overcrowded and unsafe conditions. Some have no shelter at all.

They were seized by a storm of sporadic bombardment and the hurl of continuous shells day and night in their homes, in their offices, stall market, and on their farmland.

The media coverage is becoming less vibrant in the strip of Gaza, journalists are being targeted harassed, and intimidated. Reliable Media outlets are skewed in their coverage of Gaza a few numbers stand for a balanced presentation.

Israel must not be allowed to claim Gaza if international justice can prevail.
