In his pre-Eid khutbah, Chief Imam of Massalaci Na II Mallam Adamu Gaude encouraged the Muslim Ummah around the world to be relentless in their support for fellow Muslims, as this brings more blessings and prosperity.
He emphasized that assisting the needy and vulnerable is an important act of kindness that true believers engage in, which greatly impacts the well-being of individuals.
Sheikh Adamu Gaude praised the level of support experienced during the blessed month of Ramadan within the Numan and Demsa communities and prayed for Allah the Almighty to reward them abundantly for their humanitarian efforts.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’iqamatussunnah Demsa branch, Alh Shuaibu Inuwa Shelleng, expressed satisfaction with the current leadership of the JIBWIS group.
He attributed this success to the dedication of various sub-groups and committees effectively carrying out their duties. He noted that the support received this year and the remarkable work of the committees were exceptional, and he called on people to continue supporting the group.
Sheikh Nurudeen Tukur Numan also spoke at the Eid gathering, reiterating the need for parents to guide their children properly. He warned that failing to do so would attract penalties from the Almighty.
He expressed concern that many children in Numan and Demsa have succumbed to social vices, which ultimately destroy their futures and tarnish the image of Islam.
According to him, reports indicate that many are planning to book hotel rooms and invite friends, leading to fornication and drug abuse—all in the name of Sallah celebration, which is un-Islamic.
Sheikh Nurudeen stressed that every parent has the sole responsibility to monitor and guide their children’s actions, as there will come a day when the Almighty will hold them accountable for how they have taught and guided their children.
