The recent recruitment of twelve thousand vibrant youths into the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, the Post-Primary Management Board, and the health sector is one of the unprecedented achievements of the Fintiri-led administration. This accomplishment will be remembered for generations to come.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is arguably the best governor Adamawa State has had since its formation from the defunct Gongola State. His administration has excelled in various areas of governance, particularly in transforming Adamawa into a developed state in terms of infrastructure, manpower, and health services.
The recent recruitment into the state civil service stands out as one of the administration’s most commendable actions. The intelligent and vibrant youths hired have the ability and potential to contribute significantly to the ongoing transformation of our state, aligning with global development standards.
Under the leadership of Musa Kaibo, the chairman of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, this recruitment process has been undeniably transparent and free from manipulation. All candidates, regardless of their backgrounds, were given equal opportunities to participate in the process, despite the overwhelming number of applicants. This recruitment approach is the fairest and most transparent that has ever occurred in Adamawa’s history.
The level of dedication, integrity, and steadfastness displayed throughout the recruitment process was exceptional. It is evident that Governor Fintiri collaborates only with the most dedicated and capable individuals whose integrity is beyond question.
Unfortunately, some individuals with political motives have tried to create confusion regarding the recruitment. While unsuccessful applicants have the right to express their grievances, it is essential to remember that the Commission was hiring only 12,000 out of 96,000 applicants.
The examination was conducted based on the positions for which individuals applied. The questions were not overly difficult but focused more on the practical applications relevant to the positions.
Despite various attempts by some politicians to interfere with the process, the Commission adhered firmly to the governor’s directive to hire individuals based on merit, which they accomplished successfully. In the end, hardworking sons and daughters of the state those who dedicated their time and energy to study and are passionate about contributing to Adamawa’s progress—secured these appointments.
To Governor Fintiri, the vibrant youths express their gratitude, and the trust you have placed in them will never fade. You have proven beyond doubt that you are a true patriot, committed to making today better than yesterday, and the future of our state is indeed bright.
