FG Approves N9.25 Billion for Cham-Numan Section of Gombe-Yola Road Rehabilitation

The Federal Government has approved the sum of N9.253 billion for the rehabilitation of the Cham-Numan section of the Gombe-Yola road.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, after the recent Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the minister, the Cham-Numan portion will be rehabilitated in phases, with the newly approved funds covering the initial phase of the project. The road is a critical link between Gombe and Adamawa states, serving as a major corridor for transportation and economic activities in the Northeast.

This approval is part of a broader infrastructure investment drive, which saw the FEC endorse several road and environmental projects across 13 states, amounting to N787.14 billion and $651.7 million in total.
