Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the Hama Batta, His Royal Majesty Homun Alhamdu Gladson Teneke, at his palace in Demsa over the death of his younger brother, Dr. Gabriel Teneke.
Governor Fintiri described the late Dr. Teneke as a respected son of the Batta Kingdom whose contributions to community development, education, and humanity will be fondly remembered.
He prayed to God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and give the royal family the fortitude to bear the loss.
In his response, Hama Batta, HRM Homun Alhamdu Gladson Teneke, thanked Governor Fintiri for the condolence visit and for always identifying with the people of Demsa, particularly in moments of grief.
He described the Governor as a compassionate leader who values unity, peace, and the welfare of all citizens.
