Alhaji Bello Ahmad Ismail, popularly known as Hamma, the elder brother of Alhaji Aliyu Ismail Numan, a former Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Defence, has passed away.
He died peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, April 12, 2025. His death has been received with deep sorrow by family members, friends, and associates across the state and beyond.
According to family sources, the Janazah (funeral prayer) is scheduled to hold today at 2:00 PM at the Central Mosque in Nassarawo Demsa, Adamawa State.
Mourning his death, several sympathizers have expressed their condolences, remembering Alhaji Bello as a respected elder and a symbol of humility, integrity, and devotion to community service.
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” a family spokesperson said, invoking the Islamic expression of mourning. “We pray that Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings and grants him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.”
He is survived by children, grandchildren, and a large extended family.
