The Borno Governor, Babagana Umara Zullum, stated that he didn’t know who would succeed him come 2027.
This statement is coming amidst the rumours on who will succeed the number one seat in the state.
The governor stated this during the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting at the Government House in Maiduguri.
” I have no candidate for any position and I do not know who will succeed me. I have entrusted the choice of leaders to Almighty Allah, in accordance with the democratic will of the party members and the people of Borno State”, Gov. Zullum stated.
This statement comes amidst rumours about who will succeed the number one seat in the state.
The governor stated this during the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting at the Government House in Maiduguri.
The meeting was attended by party leaders, members of the national assembly, and the state executive Council, among others.
Recently, Supporter Politicians from Borno have taken to the media to support their bosses for the number one seat however nobody has declared interest to contest the number one seat in the state.
