UCF Numan Holds Inauguration and Merit Award Ceremony

The Unity Consultative Forum of Numan Federation (UCF) held its inauguration of committees and merit award ceremony at the residence of Masallaci na Daya in Nasarawa Demsa, Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The event was attended by many prominent stakeholders and board members of the forum, including Alhaji Aliyu Ismail Numan, OON; Alhaji Adamu Hamman Jam; Engr. Adamu Ismaila Numan, GRP; Capt. Salisu Ali; Engr. Tasiu Idi, PhD; and Justice Danladi Mamman. Other attendees included executive members of the association such as Alhaji Lawan Isiyaku Numan, Zainab G. Mustapha, and Fadimatu Adam.

Part of the event included the inauguration of new leaders of the forum: Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Iliyasu Danburam Jen, Vice Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Magaji, Alhaji Babangida Sule Kakanda, Mallam Gambo Lawal, Babangida Hamidu Galleon, Alhaji Lawan Isiyaku (Treasurer), and Aminu Ahmad Yaro (PRO), among others.

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Haruna Miga, commended the effort and commitment displayed by various committees and members of the historic Unity Consultative Forum of Numan Federation. He noted that the members have done their best and achieved success, calling on the newly inaugurated members to emulate their predecessors. He emphasized that the forum remains the best in the entire Numan Federation, uniting people of different backgrounds to promote harmony among the community.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Alhaji Aliyu Samaila Numan stated that the event is not merely an annual gathering but a moment for reflection and self-accountability. He added that associations like the Unity Consultative Forum of Numan Federation serve as an umbrella for unity and togetherness, fostering paths for development and progress in the Numan Federation. He urged the newly inaugurated members to be dedicated and work collectively toward achieving the common goals of the forum.

The guest speaker of the occasion, Sheikh Abubakar Muktar Yola, spoke extensively on the importance of such forums and their role in uniting people within the community. Sheikh Muktar stressed that the Almighty encourages believers to unite, as division leads to disunity and hatred. He emphasized that Muslims have the responsibility to unite, for the Almighty supports those who come together to promote Islam. He further noted that division allows Shaitan to create confusion and uncertainty among true believers.

Awardees included Professor Muhammad Yusuf, recognized as Honourable Commissioner of the Nigerian Law Reform Commission; Justice Danladi Muhammad, recognized as a member of Adamawa State judicial council; CP Umar Yusuf Shelleng; Hajiya Maryam Gyatam Basi; ACP Nasiru Adamu Kaila; Alh Salisu Buba, Mallam Umar Muhammad Peta, Alh Yahuza Ali Musa, Nave Capt, MM Adamu, Mallam Hamza Muhammad ( Secretary) of the forum and Aminu Ahmadu Yaro as the PRO.

The Unity Consultative Forum of Numan Federation (UCF) was established to bring faith-based and trade-related organizations together under one inclusive platform. The collective aim of the forum is to strengthen participation, promote mutual understanding, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
