Adamawa Civil Service Commission Nullifies Appointment Letters, Reverts to Original List

The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has announced the invalidation of all appointment letters previously issued in the ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise, including those yet to be collected.

According to the Commission, the decision follows recent reports and a review of internal administrative processes. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has directed that the recruitment process revert to the original list of successful candidates published online weeks ago, in a bid to restore transparency and fairness.

The Governor also ordered a thorough investigation into the alleged “insertion and omission saga” that has raised concerns among applicants.

> “This step is being taken to uphold the integrity of the recruitment exercise and ensure that deserving candidates are given the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the state’s civil service,” the Commission stated.

Further details on the collection of new appointment letters will be provided in the Commission’s upcoming bulletin.

Applicants are advised to rely solely on the Commission’s official website — www.cac.ad.gov.ng or cac.adamawastate.gov.ng — for accurate updates, as these remain the only channels of public engagement.

The statement was signed by Abubakar Umar Maiha, Permanent Secretary of the Adamawa Civil Service Commission.
